Discovery Learning Academy is a Reggio Emilia inspired prekindergarten to fifth grade program. Our philosophy is to create a student centered program offering hands on learning, science themed lessons and discovery learning through purposeful created learning stations.
Our vision to build a school community that is more than a school, an extended family of parents and students that share a passion for science, discovery, creativity, learning, community involvement, and the empowering of children’s learning.
Students are encouraged to develop self interest, confidence and motivation.
Our classrooms are staffed with professional degreed teachers who care about each students well being and growth.

Prekindergarten ensures students learn the basics in phonetics, mathematics, literacy and develop social and emotional skills.
Curriculum involves study of agriculture and Texas wildlife.
Kindergarten program offer students opportunity to explore their writing, build reading comprehension and problem solving skills.
In our life science unit, students explore ecology and the environment.
